By Volume 71 and in the final story, Kubo is using these these minor arcs to give us more backstory of the main characters. The central character here is a good one, a prince set amongst a slave revolt & forced to come to terms with treating 'these people' as equals. I found myself giggling under my breath at parts in this fun and charming book.
